On Sunday, with a beaming smile, Alexandre looked back on a brilliant career as a lawyer, magistrate, president of the Supreme Court, and a stint in the presidential seat. He celebrated over fifty years of marriage, a close-knit family, successful children, and beloved grandchildren. He expresses satisfaction with the life he has led - marrying a woman he loved, pursuing a career he was passionate about since childhood, and always striving to maintain an irreproachable conduct, showing respect for himself, others, and society. His life has been peaceful, humble, away from politics and scandals, in his home country. Books have always been faithful companions to this man, who spent over fifty-two years in the legal profession.

"To be brilliant, study. Intelligence can only be found in books," he exhorts, emphasizing the importance of choosing a field one loves. Despite his age, this eminent legal scholar continues to teach at various universities in the capital. Sharing knowledge with his students is what keeps him in Port-au-Prince during the week, while he heads to Ganthier, his hometown, every weekend. Ganthier, where he plans to retire soon, as he looks forward to returning to his lands, where he enjoys agriculture and livestock. He can offer life advice based on his own experiences.
