The president of the Rotary Club of Port-au-Prince praised the completion of this project. Carvès Jean, also an advisor to the Superior Council of the Judiciary, took the opportunity to highlight the efforts of his predecessors, namely Patrick Willy and Gina Joachim, who, he said, always showed a keen interest in this highly significant project within the educational community of Anse-à-Veau.
"The Rotary Club of Port-au-Prince is pleased to have conceived and then realized the renovation project for Boisrond Tonnerre High School in Anse-à-Veau. Nothing great or important can be achieved in a day or two. Just as it takes time to educate a child, it also takes time to envision renewal and to build," stated the president of the Rotary Club of Port-au-Prince, Carvès Jean. He took the opportunity to emphasize that after the design phase, the project was put into action and continued during the 2022-2023 term, under the presidency of Rotarian Sister Gina Joachim, the former club president who initiated the project. The continuity of these activities was ensured under the presidency of Carvès Jean, in this 2023-2024 term.
