The United States, France, and Russia called on the Security Council to take action against individuals and entities responsible for violence in Haiti.

During a Security Council meeting on Haiti on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, U.S. Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, urged the Security Council to consider sanctions against those responsible for or complicit in acts that threaten peace and security in Haiti.
