Against Morocco, Haiti’s women’s national team delivered a strong performance, finishing the match with a 1-1 draw. Kethna Louis, missing from the squad list, was replaced by the versatile Dougenie Tabita Kerbie Joseph. Just before kickoff, the Desdunes (Artibonite) native took to social media to put an end to the numerous rumors surrounding her absence.

"To the fans who keep asking why I wasn’t included in the squad for the match against Morocco, I want to clarify that I am not injured, I have no physical issues, and I am not under any disciplinary sanction—contrary to what I’ve seen on social media. However, there are other reasons for my absence, but I have chosen not to disclose the details," Kethna Louis wrote in a post on her Facebook page, also announcing that she would soon return to the national team.
