A delegation from Université Nissage Saget (UNISSA), artists from Saint-Marc, and residents of Ravine-Sèche paid a heartfelt tribute to the renowned Haitian writer Jean-Pierre Basilic Dantor Frankétienne d’Argent on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Wearing black and white T-shirts bearing the words "Saint-Marc pays tribute to Frankétienne," participants sang folkloric songs and ritual hymns cherished by "the mapou of Haitian culture."
