The United States Department of Homeland Security has begun sending emails to beneficiaries of the Biden program, urging them to leave the country. “Today, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) began issuing notices of termination of parole to foreign nationals paroled into the United States under a parole program for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV) established during Mr. Biden’s administration,” read a DHS statement on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

“The Biden administration lied to America. It allowed more than half a million poorly vetted foreign nationals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela, along with their immediate family members, to enter the United States through these disastrous parole programs; it gave them the opportunity to compete with American workers and take their jobs; it forced career officials to promote these programs even when fraud had been detected; and finally, it blamed Congressional Republicans for the resulting chaos and the crime that followed,” said Tricia McLaughlin, Deputy Secretary of the Administration.
