Tensions remain high among members of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT). The CPT, which has been unable to convene a Council of Ministers meeting, remains paralyzed in its actions. This deadlock is preventing certain ministries from progressing on key matters, according to what a government official told Le Nouvelliste on Wednesday.
Once again, on Wednesday, June 18, there was no Council of Ministers meeting. Members of the Presidential Council continue to eye each other with suspicion. Divided over the distribution of positions in public administration and diplomacy, the presidential advisers have not been able to meet for the past three months to manage the transition.
