In this statement, the United States acknowledges reported attempts at corruption aimed at undermining Haiti’s stability. It congratulates members of the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT) for rejecting corruption and, while supporting cooperation between the CPT and the Fils-Aimé government, warns that anyone seeking to disrupt this collaboration will be held accountable.
