The Dominican authorities proceeded, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, with a double handover to officials of the Haitian National Police (PNH) of the Northeast in Ouanaminthe: on the one hand, two alleged members of the terrorist gang “400 Mawozo,” and on the other hand, two vehicles reported stolen in Haiti.

Around noon, Adolfo Marcelino, alias Chopo, and Jean Stanley Compère, alias Fat, were handed over to Chief Commissioner Léonard Anténor, head of the Border Police (Polifront). According to him, the two men, suspected of belonging to the gang “400 Mawozo,” infamous for acts of kidnapping, violence, and criminal trafficking in the Cul-de-Sac plain, were immediately transferred to the Northeast Departmental Service of the Judicial Police (SDPJ) for further proceedings.
