This Friday, December 5, 2025, was draw day in Washington for the teams that secured their tickets to participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Mexico, Canada, and the United States of America.
Haiti, firmly settled among the big contenders and represented by a high-level delegation, brought out the captain of the last national team qualified for a World Cup in 1974, Wilner Nazaire. Invited by FIFA, he was the pleasant surprise of the day.
