The opening day of Artisanat en Fête, held this Saturday, December 20, in Pétion-Ville on the premises of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, proceeded calmly and satisfactorily, according to Frantz Duval, editor-in-chief of Le Nouvelliste. The event, which brought together more than 220 artisans, once again made it possible to bring creators and the public together around a celebration of local craftsmanship.

“The first day is over, and we can say that we are satisfied with how it went. Artisanat en Fête has once again succeeded in bringing artisans and the public together to offer a beautiful celebration dedicated to craftsmanship,” said Frantz Duval. He nevertheless pointed to a relatively moderate turnout, while expressing satisfaction that the event actually took place. “The day was quiet, but the fair did take place, and we will continue to keep the flame alive so that it carries on,” he added.
