Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé paid an official visit to the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) on Tuesday, December 30, as part of the momentum to prepare for the elections scheduled for 2026. Through this act, the Prime Minister’s Office stated in a press release, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s determination to fully support the electoral process.

“The government takes note with satisfaction of the publication of the electoral calendar by the CEP and congratulates the Transitional Presidential Council (CPT) for its commitment to drafting the electoral decree, which provides the country with a realistic, credible timetable in line with democratic requirements,” the statement reads.
