The Bank of the Republic of Haiti officially launched Global Money Week – Ayiti 2026 on Friday, March 6, 2026. Global Money Week (GMW) is a global financial education week held each year in March. It aims to raise awareness among children and young people about issues related to money, resource management, savings, entrepreneurship, and responsible financial decisions.

Centered on the theme “Pran kontwòl lajan w jodi a pou w chanje demen w” (“Take control of your money today to change your tomorrow”), this edition aims to raise awareness among youth about the importance of responsible money management. School pupils, university students, and representatives of universities, including the rector of the State University of Haiti, Dieuseul Prédélus, attended the launch of the event.
