Osnel Espérance and Junior Célestin, who work respectively for Uni FM and Megastar, were on assignment near a neighborhood controlled by the 5 Segonn gang when they were abducted by armed criminals. The incident occurred on Friday, March 13. Since then, their relatives have had no news from them. Their families and employers have received no sign of life. The Association of Haitian Journalists (AJH) and the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) have raised the alarm over this situation.
