Chargé d’Affaires Henry Wooster, following his nomination by President Donald Trump to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Kenya, will soon leave Haiti, Le Nouvelliste has learned.

“Henry Wooster, a native of Virginia and a career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister-Counselor, is nominated to serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Kenya,” the White House announced in a statement listing the new ambassadors submitted to the Senate for confirmation.
