The Haitian government and the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) continue to meet regarding the electoral decree in an effort to reconcile points of disagreement and, ideally, amend the text and agree on a final version.

While technical experts are working on the decree itself, separate meetings are also being held between the CEP and the Ministry of Economy and Finance on budgetary matters.
