The Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), the National Federation of Haitian Mayors (FENAMH), and the National Federation of CASECs of Haiti (FENACAH) held a press briefing at Quartier Latin on Friday, June 19, 2026, to provide an update on the distribution of the “Ayiti nan Mondyal” audiovisual kits.

On June 3, the government held a high-profile handover ceremony for 700 kits intended for territorial communities. The initiative aims to make 2026 World Cup matches accessible to the Haitian population, particularly Haiti’s matches, as the country is taking part in the competition after 52 years of waiting. On Friday, State Secretary for Territorial Communities Sharina Lochard provided an update on the distribution of the kits, alongside FENAMH President Denoil Antenor and FENACAH President Paul André.
