It was notably in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Cults, Joël Turenne, as well as senior officials of the Konfederasyon nasyonal vodouyizan ayisyen (KNVA), that His Majesty Augustin Saint-Clou was officially invested in his duties as Haiti’s National Vodou Ati.
The investiture ceremony brought together a diverse audience at La Réserve restaurant, located in the heights of Pétion-Ville. In this lodging and dining venue, a large tent had been erected for the occasion. Under it, around a poto mitan, a diverse audience took their seats. Among them were houngans, mambos, hounsis, kanzos, priests, academic and cultural figures, journalists, as well as simply curious onlookers.
