The municipality of Kenscoff has once again come under the crosshairs of the "Viv Ansanm" criminal coalition. After several months of relative calm, the gangs have resumed their attacks. They launched two assaults on the municipality between Sunday, July 5, and Wednesday, July 8. While the first attack, in Obléon, was repelled by law enforcement, the second, which occurred today in Robin, did not receive a proportional response, according to Massillon Jean, president of the municipal commission.

"The attack began around 2:00 a.m. There are many dead and missing. Numerous homes have been set on fire, and several residents are being held captive by the criminals," Massillon Jean said in an interview with Le Nouvelliste. The municipal official said he was not yet in a position to provide a detailed casualty toll from this latest attack.
