The issue of the Constitution was once again at the center of an academic debate on Friday, July 31, 2026, during the fourth keynote conference organized by the Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH) around the theme: “A Comparative Reading of Four Constitutional Documents.” The event, organized under the auspices of the Monferrier Dorval Chair of Constitutional Law, was held at the Rectorate in the presence of several members of the UEH Council, including Rector Dieuseul Prédélus.

The objective of the meeting was to “place the legal question back at the heart of academic reflection,” explained the official responsible for academic affairs within the Central Student Committee, during an event that coincided with the integration of the newly admitted students from the latest entrance examination at the Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE).
