The government presented, this Thursday, a set of "concrete measures aimed at easing the economic burden on parents, improving the learning conditions for students, and ensuring a safer start to the school year across the national territory." During a press briefing, authorities announced that financial support will be provided to 130,000 parents of schoolchildren as well as to 30,000 vulnerable families. This initiative is part of a joint mobilization by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP), and the National Education Fund (FNE). The government also plans to rehabilitate 52 national schools and high schools, construct and inaugurate new educational institutions, distribute 8,000 school furniture items, as well as strengthen support for school canteens and implement other measures in favor of the educational community.<\/p>
