After shining for the Haitian national soccer team against Morocco (2–4) at the World Cup, Sunderland striker Wilson Isidor delivered a masterclass to help Haiti secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Trinidad and Tobago in the opening round of the Concacaf Nations League.
Against Tunisia on March 28, 2026, in a friendly match ahead of soccer’s biggest tournament, Wilson Isidor, who replaced Frantzdy Pierrot in the 46th minute, made his debut for the Haitian national team after repeatedly hesitating to commit. The Grenadiers gave the African side a tough time but were nevertheless defeated 1–0.
