The Dean of the Port-au-Prince Court of First Instance, Me Bernard Saint-Vil, received the oath-taking of a dozen voodoo leaders on Wednesday, September 30. The ceremony was attended by the National Ati, Augustin Saint-Clou, and the Director General of the Ministry of Cults, Me Joël Turenne.
This is a first for these leaders who take an oath before a court in order to be authorized to celebrate baptisms, wedding ceremonies, and funerals.
