Organized around the theme "Science in the service of sustainable human development," this initiative aims to promote scientific and technical research as a lever for development in Haiti. The event brought together experts from various fields, who presented research work focusing on environmental law and human ecology. Several discussion panels were also organized on issues related to the protection of protected areas, mining and human resources, and the exploitation of public documents in Haiti.

According to the organizers, these scientific days were designed to contribute to sustainable human development in Haiti by promoting science and technology. They also aim to encourage the production of knowledge in a context where, according to the organizers, magical-religious practices and cultural ambivalence play an important role.
