Haiti shines by its absence at the Hemispheric Forum on operations against cartels and narco-terrorist organizations

In the official photo, there is no representative from Haiti at the hemispheric forum on operations against cartels and narco-terrorist organizations in the Dominican Republic on October 26 and 27, 2026. However, Haiti has gangs classified as terrorist organizations by the USA and is on the list of drug transit countries among others.

"The Dominican Republic is hosting, on October 26 and 27, 2026 in Santo Domingo, defense and public security officials from across the Western Hemisphere to implement the Americas Coalition Against Cartels (A3C). The A3C brings together 19 nations from the Western Hemisphere to confront and counter the cartels and narco-terrorist organizations that threaten the populations, economies, sovereignty, and security in the Americas, including the Caribbean," states a communiqué from the U.S. Southern Command.
