The Human Resources Directorate's Technical Capacity Strengthening Cell of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) organized a training seminar for Category B and C employees of the institution. A total of 70 participants benefited from this MCI session from October 26 to 29, 2026, at the Karibe Hotel. Held under the theme "Legal Environment of Civil Servants," the training began on the morning of Monday, October 26, with opening remarks from the MCI Human Resources Director, Mr. Hugues Holstein Dorcent, followed by the General Director, Mr. Panel Paulémont.

These two officials from the MCI placed the seminar in its context, in other words, explains the MCI Human Resources Director, Mr. Hugues Holstein Dorcent, this seminar is part of the framework for strengthening the technical capacities of the ministry. "This strengthening aligns with the policies and priorities of the Haitian Government, particularly in the Strategic Development Plan of Haiti (PSDH) through the program 'Accelerate the Reform of the Public Service,' which is part of the major Institutional Refoundation project."
