The Haitian National Police (PNH) carried out operations in both the metropolitan region and provincial towns during the previous weekend, resulting in the deaths of suspected bandits and the apprehension of others. The police institution actively shared information about most of these interventions on its various social media platforms. After the required legal procedures were carried out by the competent judicial authorities, the body was removed for further action," stated a police publication.

The operation targeted the localities of Fort-Jacques, Malique, Diège, Mayotte, and Madyowo.
