To conclude the month of June, we can highlight the forum organized at the initiative of Quisqueya University and numerous partners on security in Haiti.
Thanks to this meeting, we learned that the Haitian National Police does not know its daily staffing levels, that the Haitian Armed Forces have approximately 1,500 under-equipped personnel, and that the United Nations police component assisting Haiti lacks the means to cover the entire metropolitan region and often cannot access certain Haitian National Police facilities located in red zones.
