Minister Nesmy Manigat is showing faith in the hope that the premises of Lycée Marie Jeanne will be ready for the next school year, and those of Lycée du Cent Cinquantenaire will be ready later this year. "There are projects that are progressing, while others are experiencing significant delays. This is the case with Lycée du Cent Cinquantenaire. It is a problematic project that has been ongoing for three years. For various reasons, the Ministry has repeatedly drawn attention to this project, and decisions will be made regarding the construction firm and the delegated project manager. We are in discussions with BMPAD to analyze the source of the problem. It is an unacceptable delay," explained Nesmy Manigat, the Minister of Education (MENFP), during his participation in the Panel Magik show on Thursday, July 6. He mentioned that this year, the government has already inaugurated seven schools.

Lycée Marie-Jeanne was supposed to be inaugurated last year, but the project is still dragging on. "There is no issue with resources; the funds are available through BMPAD. There is negligence in the supervision, and other factors are at play. If necessary, the government will not hesitate to take action," supported Nesmy Manigat.
