Since its withdrawal from the political dialogue process in April 2021, the resignation of its Secretary-General, Pastor Clément Joseph, the passing of Mambo Euvonie Georges Auguste in 2022, and multiple internal crises, the ecumenical organization Religions for Peace, Haiti branch, has fallen off the radar. Once highly sought-after as a mediator in political crises in the country, this organization is now dysfunctional, as one of its members told Le Nouvelliste.

The last public statement from Religions for Peace-Haiti dates back to April 2021 when the organization failed in its attempts to initiate a dialogue process between political actors. It was forced to withdraw from the process as a mediator. Statements from Mgr Pierre-André Dumas, the president of the ecumenical organization, distancing himself from Religions for Peace's dialogue initiative, had practically sealed the total disintegration of this inter-church structure.
