Invited to the Panel Magik program on Saturday, February 24, the president of ANAMAH acknowledged the certification of judges as provided by Haitian law. However, Jean Wilner Morin expressed reservations. "We believe that the current situation in the country may compromise the process of certifying magistrates due to the inability of investigators to go into the field. Indeed, conducting an investigation regarding the career, character, family, or judicial background of a person cannot be taken lightly. We believe it must be done with a lot of serenity and rigor," he said, noting that investigators are forced to communicate by phone or correspondence due to insecurity hindering free movement in the country.

"In such an unstable and fragile situation as in Haiti, it is necessary to make thoughtful decisions based on scientific evidence. It is also essential to give the person involved the opportunity to explain themselves. However, there are investigators who act without informing the magistrates," added Judge Morin, praising the work of the investigators whom he believes do not intend to harm the magistrates.
