After the airline Sunrise Airways resumed its international and intercity flights on May 30, 2024, Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince is now awaiting the return of American Airlines.

These resumptions do not fully restore the service capacity that existed before March 4, 2024, when all flights were halted, but they are a step in that direction.
