During a speech commemorating American Independence Day, held two days before the 4th of July in Tabarre, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Carlos Hercule, highlighted the fundamental nature of the partnership with the United States.

“The United States of America is Haiti’s largest humanitarian donor, contributing to various sectors such as combating illegal migration and drug trafficking, strengthening governance and the rule of law, modernizing infrastructure, developing medical care, and improving agricultural productivity and food security in Haiti. The United States also supports bilateral exchanges and investments,” stated the Minister of Justice and Public Security.
