In response to the letter from Leslie Voltaire, President of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT), which demanded a cabinet reshuffle after presenting a negative assessment of the government, Prime Minister Garry Conille expressed his surprise. In his reply, Conille questioned Voltaire's interpretation of their discussions from the October 15 meeting.
In Leslie Voltaire’s letter, he mentioned that their talks at the Villa d’accueil focused on the composition of the cabinet and the poor performance of the government. Garry Conille denied this. "For the record, during this meeting, there was never any discussion about evaluating the first four months of the government’s actions, as you seem to suggest. Nothing in our discussions referred to such an assessment. Furthermore, it is important to note that the Presidential Transition Council was formally invited to attend the public presentation of the government's first 100 days, but did not participate due to a scheduling conflict," the Prime Minister clarified.
