For Wandy Charles, Artisanat en fête is an “invaluable initiative.” He has fond memories of Michel Collection’s participation in this fair. “It was our first time participating, and it was extraordinary. We sold a volume of products that we weren’t used to selling in just one day. That’s the advantage of this fair: having access to a large audience allows us to sell an amount that would normally take two or three months. But the real impact of Artisanat en fête for artisans, and for Michel Collection in particular, is in establishing a customer base and making contact with clients,” he said enthusiastically. “Some people buy nothing or just one item at the event, but then they contact you later to order a dozen. They recommend you to others, and you realize you need to increase your production. Sometimes, this pushes you to hire one or two more artisans to meet the growing demand. And all of this is possible thanks to Artisanat en fête.”
Compared to the situation before participating in Artisanat en fête, Michel Collection now receives more inquiries and interest from people wanting to join their network. “I think it’s a wonderful experience that allowed Michel Collection to get closer to the public and establish new contacts,” summarized Wandy Charles.
