The Bernard Mevs Hospital, located in Village Solidarité on the airport road, has been the target of armed attacks. Between Sunday night and Monday, this renowned medical center suffered multiple assaults by criminals. The attackers were repeatedly repelled by the police.

A source close to the hospital, contacted by the newspaper, indicated on Monday evening that the police were able to fend off the attacks. However, this source expressed concern about potential new attacks during the night. “The police's work is commendable. The officers repelled the bandits who kept throwing Molotov cocktails at the hospital. An ambulance in the courtyard was set on fire. The container housing the hospital's CT scanner was partially burned. Two other vehicles were also set on fire,” reported the source, who noted that the criminals fired shots in the direction of the firefighters who had come to the scene.
