In an exclusive interview with Panel Magik, Leslie Voltaire, President of the Presidential Transition Council (CPT), was questioned about the ultimatum issued to him by the leadership of Fanmi Lavalas. On 100.9 FM, Joël Édouard Vorbe had stated that the CPT president must decide by January 15 at the latest on the situation of the councilors implicated in the BNC corruption scandal and send clear signals about restoring security.

"Otherwise, by mid-January, we will declare the CPT's end, and the country will at that point be handed over to the gangs," he warned.
