The deterioration of the security climate continues to have a direct impact on the food security situation in Haiti. This is what emerges from the latest bulletin of the National Food Security Coordination (CNSA).
According to data presented by Harmel Cazeau, coordinator of the CNSA, 5.7 million Haitians are currently facing acute food insecurity for the period from September 2025 to February 2026. Among them, 1.9 million are in the emergency phase and 3.8 million are in the food crisis phase. Mr. Cazeau shared these figures during his appearance on Panel Magik on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
