It was in the enchanting setting of Jardins Tippen that the Gardiens du savoir et des traditions honored Le Nouvelliste along with four other companies for their longevity in the Haitian landscape.

In her speech during the tribute, Michèle Gardère Frisch praised Le Nouvelliste as an institution that “embodies a living memory” and has demonstrated “constant rigor.” Ms. Frisch also commended its “rare longevity” and its “ability to remain standing, to evolve, and to continue producing meaning and debate.”
