Airline company ZED Airlines officially inaugurated its flights linking Cap-Haïtien to Miami on Friday, May 22, 2026, during a ceremony organized at the diplomatic lounge of the Aéroport international du Cap-Haïtien. The event took place in the presence of numerous personalities, including the mayor of North Miami, Alix Desulmé, accompanied by two members of that American city’s municipal council.

Diplomatic representatives, actors from the aviation sector, members of the Haitian diaspora, as well as several institutional and economic partners also attended the activity marking the airline’s official entry onto this new international route.
