As the 32nd edition of Livres en folie approaches, Max Chauvet took advantage of his appearance on Radio Magik 9 on May 27, 2026, to advocate for a more ambitious vision of corporate social responsibility in Haiti. In a context marked by insecurity, economic difficulties, and the weakening of cultural spaces, he believes that the private sector must play an even greater role in the country’s social and cultural life.
Throughout the interview, Mr. Chauvet insisted that Livres en folie could never have reached its 32nd edition without the constant support of private and public institutions. According to him, the event, which has become over the years one of the country’s largest cultural gatherings, relies on a collective mobilization that goes far beyond the simple commercial framework.
