No one knows why the government refuses to publish the draft electoral decree that the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) submitted more than a month ago, nor why it is delaying approval of the electoral budget. What is certain is that, without a legal framework, the Electoral Council is navigating blindly and is unable to project dates for elections and other activities related to the vote through an electoral calendar.

While awaiting government decisions regarding the legal framework and financing of the electoral process, the CEP continues to hold meetings and working sessions accompanied by press releases and photographs published on its social media platforms.
