Invited to the Fokus Marketing show hosted by Claude Bernard Célestin and Youncey S. Delsoin on June 24, 2023, Patrick Attié, co-founder and CEO of the Higher School of Infotronics of Haiti (ESIH), described, among other things, the significant role that the State has to play in the fields of knowledge, science, and technology, addressing the theme "Knowledge, Science, Technology, and Innovation: a challenge for survival, competitiveness, and dominance in the global marketing battle between nations." He emphasized the leadership of the State in making the country competitive in the technology and science sectors.

"Without the leadership of the State, it will be very difficult to access funding. There are essential conditions for securing financing. First, it is necessary to understand the priorities of the donors, as they will not invest in things that do not align with their priorities. Additionally, donors are also interested in the priorities of the public sector before investing their money," said Patrick Attié, highlighting the importance of skills, expertise, and State leadership.
