Former West departmental delegate Pierre Richard Duplan, accused as one of the intellectual authors of the La Saline massacre, answered questions from judge Jean Wilner Morin, who is investigating the La Saline massacre perpetrated in November 2018. Duplan, ex-mayor of Port-au-Prince, who was accompanied by his lawyer, spent several hours before Judge Morin. He did not wish to answer journalists' questions after the hearing. 

His lawyer, Genel Pierre, pointed out that the investigation remains secret. "My client made all the statements before the judge. The investigation is secret. It's at the discretion of the judge", his lawyer reminded the audience.
