"The Haitian Football Federation has chosen Franco-Portuguese Frédéric Gonçalves as the new coach of the Grenadières. This appointment comes following the resignation of Nicolas Delépine, who led the team to the final phase of the last FIFA World Cup."

According to the federation's statement, the new coach of the Grenadières "has been awarded a mission contract by the FHF for the Gold Cup qualifiers up to the final phase." In preparation for future events, "the FHF has integrated Marc Ogé, the head coach of the U17 women's team, into the technical staff of the Grenadières as an assistant coach to Gonçalves."
