Just like last September, the Haitian women's national team will have to do without their star player. Injured, Melchie Daëlle Dumornay will miss several weeks of competition, and she will consequently be absent from the upcoming national team gathering to face Costa Rica on November 30 in the qualifiers for the Women's Gold Cup.
Dazzling in the recent outings for the Haitian national team, Corventina will not be part of the squad against Costa Rica. Injured in the ankle on November 10 during a D1 Akerma match, the grenadier finds herself on the sidelines for an indefinite period, as confirmed by her coach Sonia Bompastor in a press conference on Tuesday. "Following the tackle received against Montpellier (5-0), she will probably be unavailable for several weeks," stated the OL coach.
