Angelo Jean-Baptiste, for a third consecutive mission (after the U20 in 2022 and U17 in 2023), will be in charge of a Haitian football selection. His reputation has risen for doing a commendable job leading the U20 team, eliminated by Jamaica in the quarterfinals. He has gained the trust of the leaders of the FHF Normalization Committee, who have reinstated him for a new mission aimed at qualifying Haiti for the World Cup.
"This is a sort of return to the roots for the coach who started his collaboration with the FHF leading another U-20 player generation in 2022, fighting for qualifications for the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Paris Olympics. The mission for coach Angelo Jean-Baptiste and his team is to qualify for the final stage of the World Cup, which will take place in 2025," read a note published on the FHF Facebook page, which recalled that Angelo Jean-Baptiste had previously led the U-17 men's team in the 2023 World Cup qualifiers.
