"The Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP) notifies the general population and healthcare professionals in particular that there is counterfeit medication circulating throughout the country under the name 'FADA Phenobarbital,'" reads the statement from the MSPP.

"The counterfeit product targeted by this alert," the MSPP informs, "labeled as 'Phenobarbital Sodium, IM/IV, 200mg/2ml,' is presented in a transparent vial, covered with a double white label with letters printed in red."
