"Financing the Haitian economy through direct investments from the diaspora" is the theme around which the first edition of the International Finance Summit in the Diaspora will be held on April 6th and 7th, 2024, at the Miami Airport Convention Center in Florida. Organized by Group Croissance and its partners Profit Development Consulting and The Law Offices of Frandley Julien, this summit aims, according to the organizers, to showcase multiple opportunities to explore in the post-crisis period and mobilize the diaspora to support Haiti's economic recovery and development. Additionally, Group Growth aims to engage members of the diaspora in a genuine capital mobilization campaign for its socio-economic projects in Haiti.

During this summit, there will be various panels on basic education, technical training, healthcare, agriculture, agribusiness, manufacturing industry, robotics and micro-processing, tourism and leisure, and infrastructure (roads, ports, airports, electricity, renewable energy). "The concept of diaspora direct investments (DDI) will be presented to participants so that potential investors interested are well versed in the mechanism and how to use it to achieve real impacts on the Haitian economy," reads a note from Group Growth.
