"Livres en Folie" welcomes Kesnel Vertil at its latest edition for the signing of his book La Musique au Singulier Pluriel. The author has a background far removed from the literary and musical worlds, working in the field of electricity and energy, and holding a Master's in System Engineering. However, his passion for music led him to explore the fine arts, culminating in this highly original work.

My colleagues at Lekòl Lage, Panel Magik, and I were thoroughly impressed by this book, which is as much to be read as it is to be listened to. We discovered a beautifully presented set containing 154 texts and 263 musical pieces, spanning a wide range of genres—from compas and jazz to classical music, rock, zouk, and reggae.
